I didn’t grow up bilingual , I became bilingual.
After learning Spanish from scratch and teaching thousands of students, I built Bilingual Badass to help real adults master the language fast, without memorizing grammar or living abroad.
My journey started like most people’s
frustrated with traditional language learning methods that felt disconnected from reality. Textbooks taught me verb conjugations, but not how to order tacos. Apps gave me vocabulary lists, but not the confidence to actually speak. So I did something different: I moved to Mexico and immersed myself in the real language, not the sanitized classroom version. I watched novelas, hung out in local neighborhoods, made mistakes in conversations, and learned from native speakers who became my friends.
THE MISSION
“My mission is simple: to help 100,000 people become confident Spanish speakers who can navigate any situation in Mexico or with Mexican Spanish speakers.
I believe language learning should be practical, engaging, and empowering. Not intimidating, boring, or disconnected from reality.
